Effect of Maternal on Attitude toward Working Women and Family Function with Preschool Child

Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate effect of maternal employment on attitude toward working women and family function with preschool child. For these purposes, total of 200 target population in 100 working mothers and 100 unworking mothers with preschool child were selected attending one hospital and 3 Health centers at Taegu Metropolitan City.
The results of this study were as follows;
¡¤Among the general chareteristics of mothers, there were significant differences on marital status and level of satisfaction as a housewife between working mothers and unworking mothers(p<0.05).
¡¤In comparison with total score of attitude toward working women with working mothers and unworking mothers. there was significant difference on their total score of attitude toward working women between working mothers and unworking mothers(p<0.05).
¡¤In detailed item¡¯s comparison toward working women with working mothers and unworking mothers, there were significant differences on housekeeping(p<0.05), relationship with family members, child rearing (p<0.05) and interaction with children(p<0.01) between working mothers and unworking mothers.
¡¤In comparison with total score of family functioning with working mothers and unworking mothers there was significant difference on their total score of family functioning between working mothers and unworking mothers(p<0.05), and among subitems mean score of current working level of working mothers was lower than unworking mothers.
